The Town of Innisfil is partnering with Metroland Media to create a special edition of the Innisfil Journal that will highlight and reinforce the importance of local businesses. The edition will include the opportunity to claim cost-effective ad space and a listing of available services and support for the Innisfil business community.
“It has been a difficult year since the effects of the pandemic began impacting businesses,” said Kate Nash, the Town’s Economic Development Champion. “We are helping create an affordable opportunity for our local businesses to take advantage of, for both selling online and to be in a strong position when things open back up.”
The Town is sponsoring the special edition to offset ad costs so businesses can continue to promote their services to the Innisfil community. The Innisfil Journal is distributed to about 12,000 households. Local businesses can purchase ads at an 80 per cent cost reduction, being able to participate in the initiative for as little as $49. The discounted fees are as follows:
- Quarter page ad – $49
- Half page ad – $199
- Full page ad – $299
- Full page ad with digital package – $599
All participants will also receive a month of digital advertising and a complimentary three-month membership to the Canadian Federation of Independent Business for a personalized connection to practical resources.
Ads must be booked by April 29 to appear in the May 13 edition of the Innisfil Journal. Interested businesses can learn more or purchase discounted ad space for the feature by contacting Kate Byers at kbyers@simcoe.com or 705-816-1355.
