Our Vision

To become “The” Rural Startup / Scaleup Community in Ontario.

Strategy – USP (Unique Selling Proposition)

Our overall strategy is to market and promote our rural, 4 season, lower cost, high quality of life, combined with our incredible startup ecosystem, which we are building and strengthening.

Retention & Expansion

Our main focus will be to target 30 high potential growth companies and undertake a business retention and expansion initiative.
We will continue to service local businesses based on their needs for our services and those within the ecosystem.

Attraction

Our focus will be to attract investment from the GTA, Simcoe County and possible International locations to Innisfil Accelerates @ 8000 Yonge Street. Our goal is to attract 15 Startups to Innisfil in 2020.

Marketing

Our marketing will focus on defining and refining target market profiles, creating awareness regarding Innisfil through paid and earned media (public relations) regarding our offering, and network marketing/networking (meeting with key targets).

The Work

Almost everything we do is a project and almost every project has a product as part of its deliverable. We create products to use as economic tools in our tool box.

Almost everything we do is measurable. Measure and evaluate our work, learn, respond and fine tune.

Our Priorities

We’ve identified 3 priorities for 2020:

Acceleration

Launch, Develop and Grow Innsifil’s Tech Start Up Ecosystem and Economy.

Land and Space

Proactively develop plans and seek investor driven solutions to address industrial land issues and lack of available commercial space.

Develop, define and solidify

Innisfil’s market position as the leading municipality from which private sector companies can grow their businesses by testing new ideas & technologies, products and services using municipal assets in exchange for financial and economic benefit to the community .
